1. Planning guide:

curriculum

This guide is designed to walk Shattered Dreams planners through all the steps necessary for a successful program.

Each section of the guide tackles one program component and explains, in great detail, all the tasks and materials that are necessary.

The parent-student workshop and the parent retreat are included in this guide to emphasize the important role that parents play in preventing underage drinking and impaired driving.

This guide is free for use by any school or community interested in conducting a Shattered Dreams program. Please feel free to duplicate sections and use sample materials. Letters and forms should be modified as needed to meet local school or district requirements.

2. Class curriculum:

This in-class curriculum is designed as a complement or alternative to the Shattered Dreams program to bring underage drinking and impaired driving messages to students who don't have the opportunity to participate in the Shattered Dreams event at their schools.
